At Forest Lawn Dental Centre, we’ve been paying close attention to the current public health situation related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and are taking every possible measure to keep our office safe for you. Our priority is the health and well being of our patients, our team members and the community. We’ve been monitoring updates from local and national authorities, and all our appointments are fortunately able to continue as scheduled. We’ve increased our sanitization measures to keep you and your loved ones safe during any visit to our office. As a dental clinic we already follow strict infection control guidelines and protocols for the safety of our patients and team members. In addition to the comprehensive daily sanitization of our office and operatories, we’ve now increased the frequency of disinfection of all common areas such as washrooms, reception area, and high touch objects with disinfectants to specifically address COVID-19. We suggest that you come alone for your appointment if you are able to in order to avoid unnecessary waiting room congestion. We are following guidelines from Alberta Health Services and the Alberta Dental Association regarding screening patients and team members. If you have travelled to outside of Canada within the last 14 days, we would like to hear from you prior to your appointment with us. Please contact us via phone, text or email. As of March 12, Alberta Health Services has recommended that all travellers returning from outside of Canada should self isolate for 14 days upon their return. We would also ask that if you are feeling ill, have a fever, or cough that you call 811 for assessment and contact us to reschedule your appointment.
